Honey Peanut Butter Pupcakes

Honey Peanut Butter Pupcakes

It’s Louie’s birthday!

In honor of his day, he got some homemade Honey Peanut Butter Pupcakes. He was so excited! While I was making them he sat patiently in the kitchen staring at me. When they finally came out of the oven, I placed them on the counter to cool and watched Louie drool. He was such a good boy and just looked up at them for 5 minutes. I even walked upstairs and forgot he was down there with the pupcakes until I heard him cry. He loves his dog treats!

Racing downstairs, I found him in the exact same spot. Waiting. Since he was such a good boy, I naturally had to reward him with one of the cupcakes. Boy, did he gobble it up!

Try these pupcakes treats for your pup. They are Louie approved!

Honey Peanut Butter Pupcakes

Ingredients:

1 ¾ cup gluten free flour (I use Pamela’s Baking and Pancake Mix)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup almond milk (unsweetened plain)

½ cup natural peanut peanut butter (no sugar added)

¼ cup honey

¼ cup olive oil

2 eggs

Makes 24 mini cupcakes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake pan with cupcake papers or spray with cooking spray.

In large bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until well blended.

Spoon batter into tins at about ¾ full.

Bake 10 minutes for the mini pupcakes. Let them cool in the pan.

If you used the paper liner, please be sure to remove them before giving to your dog.

Please note humans can eat these too, since they are made with human ingredients!

Recipe adapted from Sprinklebakes.

Bone appetite,

Lori and Louie
