How To Get More Green(s) Into Your Life
Are you wondering how you sneak more greens into your life?
We all know the importance green vegetables add to our health. They have wonderful healthy nutrients such a Vitamin A, C, E, and K. One of my favorite greens is the avocado. Who doesn’t love the avocado? You can put it in a smoothie, bake it in brownies, or scoop it right out the skin and eat it au natural.
Here is an article on All About Avocados and the fabulous benefits they supply to your body.
Looking for a recipe that packs protein and green nutrients. Here’s a great one from Kelley and Crickett called Green Egg Avocado Stuffed Muffins. Yum! It includes some nutritious spinach or kale, and an avocado. The best part of these muffins is that the prep time is only five minutes and you probably have all the ingredients on hand too.
So in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, here’s a little green to help you celebrate today, tomorrow, or whenever you want a protein packed green breakfast.

Did you know greens can be good for your dog too? You’re probably wondering what green veggies are good for my dog? Green beans! Not only are they filled with Vitamin A, C, and K but they are also a source of calcium, beta carotene and a host of other nutrients. So feel free to offer some green beans as a treat to your pooch.
