Weekly Photo Challenge: Transmogrify
“This week, your theme is transmogrify. Transform. Morph. Change. Show us something already transformed, on the cusp of transformation, or that you wish you could transform.”
New York City is the place to see transformation in motion! While walking The High Line, I couldn’t help but notice the art that transmogrified this building. If you have a chance to visit The High Line, please put it on your list of things to do in New York City. It is a wonderful public open space that follows the rail line that use to run through the West Side. These no longer used elevated rail tracks have been transformed into a beautiful landscaped park. As you walk along the line, you can see the streets below while being part of the the art around you.
Transmogrify: “to change or alter greatly and often with grotesque or humorous effect.”
Is there something you have transformed or want to transform? Share with me in the comments below.
