Dog type and Name: Buddy Giatano Chella / Black Lab

Q: Why did you choose this dog?

My boyfriend and I both grew up with labs.

Q: Do you talk to your dog? If so, what do you talk about?

I do!!!!!!! I treat him like a baby – totally. High pitched voice and all.

I talk about his day and our day – what happened. Basically it’s the stuff I talked to my son when he was a baby – even the interpretations of what I think he’s thinking. LOL!

Q: If he could talk to you, what would he say?

That he’d like to stay in the house more.  He’d like more food and he would like us to not leave him home alone.

Q: If your dog had a job or career, what would he be doing?

Chasing sheep.

Q: What lesson in life has your dog taught you?

Still learning it… not to be sooooo OCD !!

Q: How does your dog inspire you?

The “baby-mommy” years have been a long time ago (my son is 17!) so I’m inspired to have those thoughts and feelings of being a mom again.

Q: Where is your dog’s favorite place to go with you?

ANYWHERE WE GO!!!

Q: Who or what does your dog find the most interesting?

Anything he can get his jaw or teeth around and on it to chew!!

Q: What is the most annoying thing other dog owners do?

Feed their dogs HUMAN FOOD! Especially, cheese and dairy products UGH!

Q: What does being a responsible dog owner mean to you?

Knowing that he’s part of the family too 😉

Q: How has your dog changed your life?

Let’s me be “mommy” all over again.

Q: Does your dog have a philosophy of life?

Hmm not sure on this one!

Q: I love my dog because he’s cute and has such a funny little personality. He almost copies the tone in the room of all of us. His temperament is based on who in the family is around him!

WAGGLEVIEWS: These interviews are focused on woman leaders in business, the community, or at home. My hope in doing this is to present remarkable and respected women in their community with their beloved pets. Who can resist reading about dogs and what these women do? This is a platform for women to display their talents; their own business, a new book, a deeply loved passion for a charity or their own job. It also shows their love for their dog!

Thank you Angela for taking the time to participate in the Waggleview.
