A Father’s Love
“A father teaches how to live by living a life of example.
A father teaches how to respect by always being there for family.
A father teaches how to dream by encouragement and belief.
A father teaches how to trust by countless acts of unselfishness.
A father teaches how to LOVE by passing the values of a life lived with reverence, hope, and faith.
A father like this will transcend time and live in your heart forever.”

Thank you Dad. You live in my heart, forever.
One of my dad’s favorite things to do was to coach basketball. He called them “his boys.” He loved to see his boys grow, learn, and head off into the world. He coached the South Windsor Park and Recreation Travel Basketball Team from 1970-1980. My brother and I grew up watching the team for years and finally in his last year of coaching my brother was old enough to be on the team. Here’s a little flash back to his last year of coaching. Team 1979-80 record 20-11. Dad is on the right and my brother, who is now a wonderful dad, is number 40.
What lesson in life did your dad teach you? Did he have a favorite hobby?

What a lovely tribute. My father taught me the importance of family, and love and fun and most importantly how to win at Cribbage.
Lori
Jennifer,
