On Awaken Everyday

I’m so delighted to contribute an essay to Copper Beach Institutes Awaken Everyday blog, a great site for mindfulness and “real life wisdom for living a life of calm, compassion, and true happiness.” My most recent piece about The Gift of Mindfulness was just published.  I recently participated in a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course at Copper Beach Institute. In my essay, I  share the gift that mindfulness has given me and how it has helped me live in the perfect moments of imperfection.

  • Great post. Mindfulness makes us look at ourselves and the world and accept what we see/feel. Never easy, but it can be rewarding, especially when it allows us to slow down long enough to watch the leaves float from the tree.
